As a first-time mom, I know that no amount of research I do will be able to prepare me for what to know or expect when it comes to going into labor. But, after doing some digging around and talking with other mama’s about what helped their labor experience, I’ve compiled some of the items that I’ll be bringing in my hospital bag.
We are officially in the third trimester, so I am trying to get as prepared as possible by having everything ready, so all we have to do is load the car up and go! I’ve always been a planner, and so having my bag packed and ready to go with all of things I’ll need makes me feel so much better.
One of the recommendations that I didn’t even think about before asking was shoes for the shower at the hospital! I also thought that the portable mini fan was a great idea – especially since you can wrap it around your hospital bed.
If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know that one of my most favorite things in the world is the Stars Above line from Target. The black nightgown was a must-have for me, it’s so comfortable and soft. I also got super lucky and snagged a pair of the white fur slippers. I’ve linked another similar pair from Amazon if they aren’t available at Target (they sell out super fast!)
