When I first saw an ad for The Bible Study on my Facebook timeline feed, I was immediately interested. Maybe you’ve seen it on your feed, too. Once I dug a little deeper, I knew it was something that I needed to do – it was almost like a calling of sorts, as I couldn’t stop researching it and looking up information on the daily. I finally reached out to Zach (the author of The Bible Study who is absolutely awesome, BTW!) and asked if he would be interested in collaborating. Needless to say, I was ecstatic when he said YES!, but never knew that God had so much more planned for me than just another collab.
The Bible Study is not like your typical study – it actually lays out the entire book for you before you read it! This helped me immensely, as having background and knowledge of what’s going on before I read is so helpful to me [lets be honest… especially in the Old Testament! :)]
The Bible Study comes with two books, one for the Old Testament, and one for the New. The entire book is composed of thoughtful questions that really encourage you to dig deeper into what you’re reading, and even touches on experiences in your own personal life that may relate.
One of the other things that I loved most about this study were the beautiful, engaging photos that came inside the books. It always kept me surprised as I turned the pages, as if I was embarking on a journey which made it exciting to study each night.
For me personally, The Bible Study has changed my entire relationship with Jesus. That may sound like a bold statement, but it’s true. This study inspired me to finally read the entire Bible, front to back, and it changed my life. It changed how I view Jesus, God, and our relationship. It helped me to better understand the Old Testament and the time before Jesus which makes a WORLD of difference when you’re studying the Bible and hearing church sermons on Sunday. It made me excited for church again, and re-lit the fire inside of me that has over time, gotten so dim.
I encourage you to pick up your own copy of the Bible study and dig in. Let me know what you think, and how it changes your relationship with the Lord – because I guarantee it will!
