Yesterday, Nate and I spent the day at The Refinery, a super cute little store on the riverfront in Newburgh. I was so excited to visit since I had never been before, and I’ve always heard such wonderful things about it.
Sunday’s are typically a day of chaos in the Duckworth household, simply because this is Nathaniel’s busiest workday, and we never really know what to expect come afternoon time. I was happily surprised to have some time to relax on a Sunday, while spending some quality time with the hubs.
The snow has just melted enough that we can get around on the roadways in Newburgh, but the cold kept most people in, so we practically had the little place to ourselves. Might I add, that the Apple Miel Latte was incredible! It’s made with honey, cinnamon, and apple, and it was JUST what I needed on a freezing winter day.
We will certainly be back in the summertime, as well, since The Refinery also hosts Bliss homemade ice cream! So yummy.
