I am so excited to share with you another new extension method that I had the privilege of trying with Babe Hair! I can officially say, I’ve fallen completely in love with this new method that entails NO glue or other harmful substance on the hair!
Hand-tied wefts are an extension-lovers dream! They are tied in, by hand, and are so lightweight that you can barely feel them! I got used to having them in right away, and I couldn’t get over how weightless they seemed.
Alex, my stylist, had these extensions tied in my hair and ready to go within about 45 minutes. We only used three wefts since my hair is so thin, and we didn’t want them to show. Basically, a row of tiny little beads is attached to the hair, and then wefts are sewn in between those beads, as seen above and below!
I couldn’t get over how perfectly these blended with my hair! I am a high-lift blonde, so I went with the 18.5″ in the color “Patsy” on the Babe line, which is the blondest option that they have with the hand-tied wefts right now. These also come in 22″ if you want them to be longer. I wear my hair up A LOT, so the first thing I wanted to make sure was that these wefts didn’t show when I have my hair up in a pony. I was pleasantly surprised that they don’t show at all, unlike tape-ins!
Overall, I’m so happy with how these turned out, and how easy they are to take care of! If you take care of them properly, they should last you up to a whole year! When you go in to get them moved up, they’re simply cut out and retied in. So easy!
