Sundays are my favorite day of the week. There’s just something about getting up for church, a yummy lunch afterwards, then coming home to curl up and watch football, and of course, naps! It seriously doesn’t get much better than that! One of my favorite things to do on a Sunday is pick out an outfit for church. My church is very laid back and relaxed, which is a little different from most traditional churches. I remember my mom picking out matching dresses for my sister and I as a child! Oh, how the times have changed. While I do miss those days sometimes, typically a nice pair of jeans and a blouse + accessories will do.
This weekend, I chose a simple dark gray cardigan, [ which is super, super soft and cozy ] over a black tunic with dark jeggings and high-knee black leather boots. This look is a little edgier than I usually go for a Sunday, but it has been so gloomy here in Southern Indiana with a light drizzle that everything just felt right this morning.
For accessories, I went with a large diamond cross necklace that is simply put, big, bold and beautiful. It is definitely more of a statement piece so if you are looking for something a little more dainty, this will probably not work. I like the boldness of the cross against the black tunic, and since this is such a simple outfit, it really adds some bling! The earrings I chose are large silver circle dangling earrings, with a small embellishment of rhinestones around the top. I wear these with a ton of different styles, and they always look so chic every time! I have listed some similar items to what I am wearing below. Happy Shopping and Happy Sunday, loves! <3
